2024 Toyota RAV4 Goes Green and Gets Pricier

In a significant update, Toyota unveils the 2024 RAV4, a popular choice in its class with over a quarter-million units sold last year. While maintaining its fifth-generation status since 2018, the new model brings fresh options and a pricing revision.

One of the key changes is the addition of an Army green paint option, available for the Woodland Edition, Adventure, and TRD Off-Road models. The top-tier Woodland Edition also receives a sleek black two-tone roof, elevating its rugged aesthetic.

For the budget-conscious Adventure and TRD Off-Road models, a new ice cap two-tone option is introduced. This not only offers a unique look but also aids in distinguishing between the hybrid-exclusive Woodland Edition and the ICE-only models.

Inside the Woodland Edition, buyers now have the option to include heated seats and rain-sensing wipers, providing an extra layer of comfort and convenience.

Beneath the hood, the RAV4 retains its trusted powertrain. The internal-combustion-only variant houses a 2.5-liter I4 engine, delivering a robust 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Hybrid models utilize the same 2.5-liter I4, combined with a hybrid system for a total output of 219 horsepower.

In terms of pricing, the base-model RAV4 LE for 2024 sees a modest increase of $200 compared to the previous year, starting at $29,825, including the destination charge.

As you move up the model hierarchy, the Woodland Edition experiences a more noticeable shift, with a $670 increase, resulting in a new base price of $36,045. Meanwhile, the highest-tier RAV4 Hybrid Limited only sees a $250 bump, now priced at $41,130.

The 2024 Toyota RAV4 brings both eco-conscious enhancements and a slightly adjusted pricing structure. With its enduring popularity and these fresh updates, it’s poised to continue as a standout choice in the SUV market. Keep an eye out for the latest RAV4 models as they hit the showroom floors.
